Choosing the right size: a common guideline is to add your room's length and width in feet to get a suggested diameter in inches. Over a dining table, many designers suggest a fixture about half to two-thirds the width of the table, hung roughly 30 to 36 inches above the tabletop. Chandeliers should be installed by a qualified electrician, and you should confirm that the voltage and fitting suit your country before you order.
